Akibath Mohamed
I turn complex business goals into systems that are scalable, fast, maintainable and cost-effective, and I lead engineering teams to deliver them with confidence. Over a decade of turning ideas into technology that performs.

Every great system starts on a blueprint.
Three roles, one drawing. Each colour is a responsibility I own: the shape of the platform, the team that ships it, and the intelligence wired through it.
Solution Architecture
The shape of the whole system, and every trade-off inside it.
- Cloud-native, event-driven
- Security & resilience built in
- Cost that scales with value
Engineering Leadership
The team, the process and the standards that get it shipped.
- Roadmaps & priorities
- Engineering standards
- Mentoring future leads
AI Strategy
AI wired in where it pays: governed, measured, trusted.
- Fraud, risk & ops use cases
- Agents with guardrails
- Value over hype
How I think, build and lead.
Every system I design is measured by what it does for the business: how well it scales, how much it costs to run, and how easily the team can keep improving it.
Hard problems are my favourite puzzles.
Problem solving is what I do best, and what I enjoy most. A new business need, an engineering limit, a team pulling in different directions, a system that needs rethinking: I get to the heart of it and solve it at the root, so what we build today never becomes tomorrow's problem.
Great systems don’t max one thing. They balance all six.
Every architecture is a set of trade-offs. These are the six I never trade away.
- ScalableGrows with the business.
- FastDesigned in, never patched in.
- LeanEvery dirham earns its place.
- EvolvableEasy to change, safe to ship.
- SecureCompliance from day one.
- People-firstStrong teams, strong systems.
A decade of building systems businesses run on.

Trusted in industries where failure isn't an option.
Language-agnostic. Architecture-first.
I choose the right tool for the problem, not the one I'm most comfortable with. Tools change, the shape of a good system doesn't. Here's where each one fits.

FoundationArchitecture practice
From the chess board to the boardroom.
Chess has been with me since childhood, and it remains a hobby I never quite grew out of. The game taught me what architecture still demands every day: see the whole board, think several moves ahead, and never make a move you can't defend.
A good system, like a good game, is won in the decisions nobody notices.
- Opening · StrategySee the whole board.Understand the business before touching the tech.
- Middlegame · ForesightThink three moves ahead.Design for scale, failure and change.
- Endgame · JudgementSacrifice wisely.Every trade-off should win the bigger game.
Let's turn vision into architecture.
